Carmen Miranda, born in 1909 in Marco de Canaveses, was a famous Brazilian singer, dancer, Broadway actress and film star.
The small municipal museum is a tribute to her and takes you back to the early days of global glamour and fame.
It is a pity that the museum does not offer sound and film recordings.
Nevertheless, the personal story about the little Portuguese baby who became a world star remains fascinating.
